LUCKNOW: The municipal corporations of various cities of UP have not been getting the infrastructure funds due to them for a long time. The funds are meant for carrying out development work every year under heads including solid waste management, drainage, water-supply, sewerage and e-governance. Officials hinted that due to a change in regulation, infrastructure funds had been put on hold for some time. Lucknow municipal corporation (LMC) is also among the sufferers, not having received funds since July 2012, taking arrears to a total of Rs 45 crore.
