(Source: British Prime Minister's Office) Today, Energy and Environment Ministers from 12 EU Member States issued a joint statement calling for MEPs to support the so called 'backloading' proposals due to be voted on in Strasbourg on 3rd July, and for the European Commission to bring forward legislative proposals to deliver structural reform of the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) by the end of the year.
